Pizza with the Pros

The UH student chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators is presenting Pizza w/ the Pros featuring former CBS correspondent David Henderson.

Henderson is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, communications strategist, author and noted blogger. In addition to working with CBS, he has handled public relations duties for Edelman Worldwide and Gulfstream Aerospace. His books include “The Media Savvy Leader: Visibility, Influence and Results in a Competitive World” and “Making News: A Straight-Shooting Guide to Media Relations.”

Among the topics he will discuss are the importance of Web 2.0, strategic thinking and how to become a communications star.

FREE pizza will be served (while supplies last).
This event runs from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, April 30 in the Pacific Room of the University Center (underground). It is open to all students and faculty.
