All relevant majors from School of Communications, CLASS, and Bauer College of Business are invited to attend a two-part event to learn about communication career options and job search tips.
No RSVP required. Refreshments will be served.

Part 1: Communication Career Discovery Roundtable
11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Bluebonnet Room, UC, Thursday, Oct. 15
Students can engage with professionals at roundtable discussions to learn about interviewing, resumes, networking, how social media factors into career/job searchers, and graduate school options. Students can also learn about eDISCOVERY and other opportunities to grow their skills and build resumes.

Part 2: Media Homecoming: A Reality Chat Connecting Students with Cougars in the Communication Industry
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Kiva, Farish Hall, Thursday, Oct. 15
This Reality Chat panel discussion will offer students a chance to hear from alums who are leaders in the communication industry. Discussion topics will include research in communication, what students can do now to prepare for careers in communication, how these pros launched their careers, the changing face of the industry.
